Online Safety/E-Safeguarding

The internet is essential in 21st century life for education, business and social interaction. At Crossflatts Primary we place great value on the use of technology to enhance learning and although the positives of the digital world overwhelmingly outweigh the negatives, the children and parents all need to be aware of various online risks.   Children need the support of school and also parents/carers to help build their resilience and guide them to recognise and avoid online safety risks and the education of pupils in online safety is therefore a key part of the school’s eSafeguarding provision.
